Southpath2 Whycoot at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson MD (a burb north of
Bawlamer) inquires:
>>One of our pathologists asked us for a Luzerin Red stain for crystals.<<
Sounds like Alizarin Red, presumably for calcium oxalate crystals in
mammographic biopsy specimens, particularly useful if the pathologist does
not have access to a polarizer (hey, some labs won't let the pathologist use
the pee scope). Pronounced uhLIZZarin.
