You did not say what you used, but we liked Tissue Prep 2 (Fisher) - it is
harder that helps support bone better and worked well with midsaggital
slabs from sheep tibia (big slabs mounted on 4 x 5 inch slides) , goat
bones, human femoral heads, etc.
