RE: Trimming round edge of cassette


We scrape blocks but also have a device made by Thermo Shandon called a
Paratrimmer that you press the edge of the block against and it melts the
paraffin very neatly away. It says Part No. B31210205 on the device.

Hi all,

I had the same problem, looking for something to use for trimming paraffin
on cassettes. My solution was dollar store parring (paring?) knives. 4 to a
pack for a buck and not very sharp!
