OT: Time zones Mars

From:Jenny Oblander

Sorry for posting this on the Histonet, but my reply to Andrew Shand comes
back undeliverable. Thanks Jenny
Mars can be seen without using binoculars or telescopes, but if you want a
more detailed image these will help. You can get reasonable priced scopes,
the Celestron is an excellent one.

At 5:51 a.m. EDT on Aug. 27, 2003, Mars will be within 34,646,418 miles
(55,758,006 kilometers) of Earth. This will be the closest that Mars has
come to our planet in nearly 60,000 years.
