Hi .  I have never tried it but our experience has been that AR specimens stain better with something like the
Vector Elite kit,which is a 2 step method so it takes a little longer. One hour in primary adn 30 minutes in
secondary and then 30 minutes in tertiary.
If that fails try  something like Dako's signal amplification kit CSA kit. Hope this helps
