Thank you very much to those who responded to my inquiries on a microtome. They really helped a lot on what my choices are. I'm sorry if I was not more specific on its use. This microtome is for paraffin sectioning. My lab does mostly avian tissues - lots of eyes, bones and sinuses. Sometimes we also get snakes, geckos and frogs.
