Has anyone in histoland performed LCM on thick sections?  I want to try microdissection on thick (20-40micron) sections of rat brain.  I was just wondering if anyone has tried dissecting thick sections with any success.  If so, could you send me your protocol (power & duration settings, how good was the pick-up, what stain did you use, staining times, etc.)
