Dear histonetters,

We are using tissue tek to embed our -20 degrees celsius frozen samples. To decrease flurescence we add a little indian ink to it. Because we are using very large samples(6x6x10cm/2.5x2.5x4inch, this is not a typing mistake) we use lots of tissue tek. Does anybody has a cheap 'home-brew' recipe of something that would do as a replacement?
