RE: Slide Labels

From:"Morken, Tim"

The TBS slide etcher is good - totally permanent. Also the DAKO Seymour slide labeler is solvent proof and will go through staining solutions easily. It uses a label with a plastic flap that covers the print, so the print cannot be even scratched off the label. The Seymour can be used with any Windows computer and can also be interfaced with the DAKO Autostainer.

Subject: Slide Labels

We are looking for stain and xylene resistant slides labels that are also permanent. By permanent, I mean it takes a lot of effort to remove them from the slide after they are applied. The labels we have tested, while they do withstand the chemicals, can be easily removed from the slides. Has anyone had success in this area?
