guidelines

From:Wayne D H

Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) in British Columbia, Canada wants us to keep wet tissue 8 weeks after the final report is issued. Specimens on adults: slides , blocks and reports we keep for 20 years; specimens on children: only 50 years.

We moved our block storage into a new area in May/99, based on the then current guideline of 10 years and DAP issued the new guideline in Oct/99. Does anyone know how to compress blocks to half size?
