Whole Breast Mounts
Our pathologists have asked me to investigate the possibility of
performing whole breast mounts here in our local hospital lab. We are in the
process of building a comprehensive cancer center, and would like to be in
the forefront with this technology.
We perform routine paraffin embedded Histology, and realize that we
would need to revamp all our equipment,etc. I would like to contact those
individuals who are performing this procedure, or have any experience in this
field. Since this is so new to me, I need info regarding set-up, equipment,
and sources for the same. I hope you can help. Perhaps there will be some
info available at the NSH symposium this Sept. in Charlotte that will help.
