RE: cleaning metal molds in your tissue processor

From:"Morken, Tim"

We used to do this all the time when we used metal molds. Never had any problems at all. You do need to change the cleaning solutions more often, however.

Subject: cleaning metal molds in your tissue processor

Fellow histonetters,

I was wondering how many of you put your molds in your tissue processor while
running the clean cycle.  Several places that I have worked have routinely
done this, while other places swear that is not a good practice causing undue
problems with the processor.  What are your opinions?
