RE: Histobath

From:"Tom T. McNemar"

The Histobath is (was) made by Neslabs Instruments, in New Hampshire. We
bought one back in the late 80's and used it for awhile. We bought it to
use for quick freezes and used absolute alcohol in it. We tried to use it
to freeze frozen sections but they did not cut very well. We still have it
in our storeroom but haven't used it in a number of years. Their website is
http://www.neslabinstruments.com/product/products.htm . I didn't see
anything like the one we have but I'm sure they have an updated version.

Anyone have any info on who makes the Histobath or an isopentane bath used
for freezing tissue for frozen sections? I need pricing info also! Many
thanks, j
