are you suggesting the an educational requirement take the place of a registry exam?  if so, i would heartily disagree with that.....after all.....someone has to graduate in the lower half of any class.....and would you want a histotech who graduated at the bottom of his/her class working on your bx?  the registry exam is what separates the wheat from the chaff so to speak (type :-)).
