Many Thanks to the kind individuals who helped me last time on this subject.

My question now is this: Can I try this technique on my brainstems which
have been in formalin for many years? The the shortest time in formalin is 4
years and the longest time is 10 years. If I cannot try this technique
because it is a histochemical technique and my markers will have vanished,
then are there any immuno techniques which can show me the same neurons? eg
NOS antibodies?

I am continuing to search on the internet, but any help that any kind person
may give will be greatly appreciated.
