Arlington Memorial Hospital has a full-time position available for a
histotechnologist, preferably HT(ASCP) or eligible with at least 2 years
laboratory experience. Hours are 4:00am to 12:30pm. Strong cutting skills
are a must. Average block count is 300 blocks daily. Job duties include
rotating through Surgical Pathology, Frozen Sections, Embedding, Microtomy,
Special Stains and Cytology preparation. Near the end of this year, we will
be moving into our new expanded lab, with windows. We are all very excited
about the move to larger quarters.
