Boneheads and Bone Cement

From:Linda Durbin

To all Boneheads!

I was on vacation last week when Diane asked about processing bone cement
and I just rattled off the standard Technovit 7200 answer. Needless to say
my brain was already unplugged and I forgot all about a really good
reference. In the June 1998 issue of JOH Melinda Harmon at the Orthopaedic
Research Laboratory in West Palm Beach published an article on the effects
of fixatives, dehydrating agents and various embedding media on acrylic bone
cements. It's Vol. 21, No. 2/ June 1998. It's a good reference for the
effects of a variety of reagents on bone cement. I still have some reprints
if anyone doesn't have the back issue. Just let me know.
