dried specimens
From: | jay cheung <firekirin@hotmail.com> |
Hi, dear histonetters:
My name is Jay and I am quite new to the area of histology. I just
processed some rat tissues and I found that some of the tissues were really
dry. I used a Fisher Histomatic Tissue Processor Model 166A for tissue
processing. I wonder what are the common possible causes for the dry
specimens! Also I would really appreciate it if someone can be so kind to
provide me a protocol for tissue fixation, processing and infiltration
procedures that work for the automatic processors. Thank you so much for
your help!
