Schiff's removal

From:Gayle Callis <uvsgc@montana.edu>

Anatech used to have, but not sure if it is still available, a hand cleaner
that removed Schiffs.

I would, however, require your staff to wear gloves and use forceps when
working with Schiffs reagent. Pararosanilin is also a basic fuchsin, an
aniline dye, and a carcinogen. It should not come in contact with skin.
Whew, I remember the days of having gorgeous pink fingertips - no more or I
might be the main topic of discussion this past week on histotech chemical
exposure and oncology topics.
