Hello everyone,
We have a grad student who is looking for a method for long term storage of frozen sections that will also maintain good morphology. Prior to sectioning the tissues were fixed in zink formalin, then decalcified in EDTA and DeCal II. The tissue is rodent cholea and is very difficult to section. Currently he is using OCT compound. Does anyone have any suggestions or favorite methods for embedding this type of tissue for frozen sectioning? Thank you all in advance.
