Re: Sirius Red/Fast Blue

Any chance this is really a sample of Lendrum's stain, or a variant thereof?
Lendrum's method, sometimes referred to as the MSB stain, utilizes Martius yellow, Brilliant Scarlet and Soluble blue (Luxol fast blue),

Well it is Monday and somebody just walked in the door asking for something
new - at least to me - a collagen stain using Sirius Red and Fast Blue.
I've looked through all my textbooks and find nothing - has anyone heard of
this? They have a great picture but no procedure.
