RE: processing paraffin

It may not be a paraffin problem after all. You may have a bad lot of
blades. This seems to be a problem lately for those of us who use disposable
blades. I suggest getting in touch with the manufacturer of the blades to
see if there have been any reports of "bad blades". Recently on the histonet
there appeared some discussion about this problem.

The brand I am currently using is Paraplast Xtra--to embed and process 
with--We are using Surgipath and Duraedge blades. There are nine techs 
cutting at two institutions all with the same difficulty!!!    Totolly 
frustrating
