Defining thin sections for blood cells in tissues

From:Gayle Callis <uvsgc@montana.edu>

Thinner sections should have been stated or less than most routine 4 - 6
micrometers, 2 micrometers is preferred. This permits better viewing of
single cells while retaining morphology of whole tissue section. Somewhat
like doing a bone marrow biopsy at 2 micrometers.
