You can still purchase Crystal Mount from Fisher aka Fisher Healthcare
catalog for clinical labs, still made by Biomeda Corp. Have used this with
great success for AEC and is available in larger volume (bulk) bottle and
sent with smaller dispensing bottle, far cheaper than individual tiny
bottle purchases.  

Seems this "permanent aqueous" mounting media is available from several
companies.  Have a sample from Biogenex which is excellent called
Supermount.  Dako also carries one in their catalog, name escapes me, and
the AquaPerm from Shandon Lipshaw.  They all work the same way.
