Recently in a 1986 J of Histochem and Cytochem, one of my researchers came 
across a mounting medium called "nicetamide" for coverslipping FITC 
slides.  The author of this article was from Finland.  Can anyone tell me 
what this medium is and where to buy it or the formula to make it.  Maybe 
someone from Europe is familiar with this solution.  It might be easier to
