We have an opening for a lab assistant at Pathology Associates of Tyler in 
Tyler, TX.  The job includes receiving and accessioning tissues, pap smears 
and fluids and entering the requisition information on the computer.  
Labeling pap smears and fluids, staining, coverslipping (automated stainer & 
coverslipper) and delivery to the appropriate Doctor's room within the lab.  
Eventually operating the xylene/alcohol recycling machine, (weekly tissue 
disposal if you would like to do this for an additional pay amount -- 
separate from regular salary).  Work hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 
Monday through Friday, and eventually picking up specimens from 2 hospitals 
and performing the normal work process (about 2 - 3 hours) every other 
Saturday - overtime of course for Saturday.  We offer competitive salary and
