Are you dehydrating in cold butanol or butanol/acetone acs grade? Ethyl 
/Methyl green is fussy and difficult to clear, if you want just to have a 
nice bright green contrast try working fast green, all you need for clearing 
is absolute alcohol and xylene.                                        Dana
