Hi Margaret, hi Alexander
Same experience here (FFPE material): Novocastra's mo-a-HCV, clone MMM33,
stained about the same proportion of known HCV+ as of control cases ...
Similar results with clone HCV88 (BioGenex), no positive result with clones
N57 (HCV NS-3 protein) and C39 (HCV core protein) (both from Biodesign).
Never tried clone Tordji-22 as a colleague of mine told me - after extensive
testing - that he had never had any success with this antibody.
So if anybody can come forward with an antibody and a protocol that reliable
identifies HCV+ patients (and only these ...) on FFPE - please do not
hesitate to share the information with the Histonet community. Thanks!

P.S. Alexander, hope you had a safe trip back from Cambridge!
