I tried it once a long time ago. I can't remember the details,
but wasn't impressed enough to try it again. A slightly different
method was given by M.Gabe in his "Histological Techniques" (1976),
with some discussion of fixation and what to look for while
differentiating.

Dominici's triple stain. Compt rend. Soc. Biol. 54:221 (1902)

Solution A.
Water 100 ml
Eosin Y 0.5 g
Orange G 0.5 g
Solution B.
Toluidine blue 0.5 g
Water 100 ml
Paraffin sections to water.
Stain in A for 5-10 min.
Quick rinse in water.
Stain in B for 20-30 sec.
Quick rinse in water.
95% alcohol "until differentiated"
Complete the dehydration, clear in xylene and cover.
