We fix adult rat eyes with Davidsons fixative for 24hrs, store them in 10%
formalin, and process them on a half-hour per reagent time schedule through:
70, 80, 95, 95, 100, 100 reagent alcohols, then 3 Propar, then 2 paraffin.
we've just begun working with neonatal rat eyes - I can let you know how
they turn out when we get our protocol down. Jen
