Mary,
The PA organization is the AAPA, American Association of Pathologist's Assistants, and they have a great web site (pathologistsassistant.org). They can be reached by phone at 1-800-532-AAPA and their address is Rosewood Office Plaza
Suite 300N
1711 W. County Road B
Roseville, MN 55113
I have found them to be very helpful. I do not have the job description on the proper computer to e-mail it to you, however if you will send me your fax number I would be willing to share it with you.

I know this has been discussed before, but I don't have access to the archives (no internet access) so please could someone please pass on some information, or pull from the archives, information on Pathologist's Assistants? Specifically, I would like things like job descriptions; Competency measurement criteria: Guidelines for Dissection of different types of specimens. Anything would be helpful, including references of where I can get this type of information. There is a professional organization of PAs I believe- if anyone has an address or phone number I would appreciate it too.
Thanks in advance,
Mary McCoy
