I do IHC for spirochetes in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue using the following antibodies:

Borrelia burgdorferi - rabbit pAb/Cat. #0301
ViroStat, Inc.
(207) 883-1491

Treponema pallidum - rabbit pAb/Cat. #8207
SciMedx Corp.
(800) 221-5598

I have used these antibodies for years with good results, but please remember that IHC for spirochetes/bacteria is not always easy to interpret. You don't always see the normal morphology of the organism due to the heavy deposition of chromogenic product at the antigenic site(s).
