Hi Todd,

I strongly believe that students should have a sound knowledge of manual
staining methods before progressing to automated methods. Afterall
students need a good grounding for trouble shooting automated methods,
setting up new automated methods and (heaven help us all) when the
automated stainer breaks down. I feel that if todays students don't have
the basic fundametals taught to them now the future of Histotechnology
is bleak.

My 2 cents worth.

Also to all out there in Histonetland,

Thanks for all the interesting topics, hints and discussions.

Cheers from downunder.
