Barry,
while vast experience in any field can mean a very knowledgable person, it
also may not. i worked with a tech who was kind enough to let me know just
how long they'd been at it (on several occasions)....this individual was
also one of the worst techs i've ever worked with (i'm currently working
with a tech who's going through a histo training class, not hospital based,
and she's by far a better tech!).
there is something to be said for experience, but i think there is just as
much or more to be said for education in these days of all this new
technology.
