In this day and age where we continue to cut costs and look for ways to
become more efficient, I wanted to report that after many years of searching
for a more reasonable disposable microtome blade, I finally found one that
is excellent and rivals the overpriced competition. I've tried all of them,
believe me, my techs were just not happy with the alternatives. Recently we
tried a new blade marketed by Shandon/Lipshaw (MX35) and it was absolutely
wonderful - yes it is manufactured in Japan.
I do not represent Shandon or any other company, so I am not promoting
Shandon products. Contact your representative for more information.
