For animal research, Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry is a
favorite, Journal of Histotechnology, Biotechnic and Histochemistry.

It may depend on the kind of research you are involved in as to the journal
you plan to publish in, but for basic technic, J Histechnology and Biotechnic
and Histochemistry are good. There is a new journal (forget the name,
and have not seen it, the combined with Cell Vision) with Clive Taylor
as one of the editors. This one would also be appropriate for publishing
a new procedure. Hopefully someone will come forth with this new journal
name. Applied Histochemistry and Molecular Morhphology sticks in my head,
but I may be wrong.

Good luck on publishing!
