I found liver tissue containing a colonic adenocarcinoma, fixed in
alcohol a good all round control for PAS and DPAS. Remember glycogen
is water soluble and may leach out with prolonged aqueous fixation.
I like the idea of including a slice of kidney with the liver. A
good test for PAS sensitivity.
