Wanted to add an addendum to the qualifications that Vinnie listed.
The years of experience (for HT or HTL) MUST be under the
supervision of a pathologist (ASCP certified or eligible) or an
appropriately certified medical scientist.

This is per the ASCP Board of Registry (BOR), and is found on the
web pages that Vinnie mentioned.

When you fill out the application, you have to write down
what your job duties have been, and where you received your
experience/training (in addition to type of degree, type and
number of science courses, number of credits earned, etc.).
It is up to the ASCP BOR to determine if you are eligible.

Peggy A. Wenk, HTL(ASCP)
William Beaumont Hospital
Royal Oak, MI 48073
