Hi All,
[ I thought that subject line might grab a few! ;-) ]
I have a graduate
student that has injected rats with hyperimmune-rabbit serum. We want
to determine if the rabbit-IgG is attaching to the nerves, using IHC
in FFPE tissues.
I tried to stain directly with my Goat anti-rabbit (HRP), just
because I had it on hand; but it isn't working. Too much
background (surprise, surprise).
Does anyone else have experience with anything similar?
Should I expect, that any unconjugated anti-rabbit Ab will work?
Is this similar to staining for autantibodies?
Ag retreival recommendation??
All opinions welcome!
Cheers! Greg
