Judith:
We have just recently received a replacement for the original Leica
coverslipper we purchased many months ago. We had chronic bubble problems
that could not be resolved. It was finally determined that it was a bad
pump...a factory defect. They sent us a whole new machine and we have just
started the process of adjusting mountant, etc. to achieve optimal results.
We are not yet there. I will gladly fill you in on our progress.

Dear Histonetters-
We currently have a brand new Hacker coverslipper
(2nd since November '98) but are having a great deal of
"bubble" problems that company cannot seem to resolve.
We would appreciate all comments from those of you
who use a Leica coverslipper. Pros and Cons.
Thanks in advance-
Jude
