Histonetters:
I have a couple of questions...
Does anyone out there have a Diener who is also a Deputy Coroner or Elected
Coroner, working on their staff in a hospital setting? If so, how do you
handle legal cases if the diener is also the county deputy coroner from
the same county as the victim of a legal case who is then brought to the
hospital where the coroner may work as both. Would this constitute conflict
of interest??
How do you handle Medical Records in a legal case? Do you allow copies to
be made if supoened or if handed a search warrant? Do you only allow
Medical Records deal with legal cases or do you let your Legal dept deal
with the viewing of Medical Records.
We would like to be sure that the Medical Records of all legal cases
remain confidential but just how far must one go.
Thanks,
