Hi all,
This message is from a guy in our lab about LCM and RNAses in hematoxylin can anyone help?

I will be doing LCM on H&E-stained spleen cryosections and I have a question regarding the staining. As these captured cells will be used for RNA analysis, do I need to be concerned about using commercially available, pre-made hematoxylin or eosin stains (ie., do I need to fear that there will be sufficient levels of RNAses such that it would be wise to make up my own stain in my lab)?

Thanks for any help,
Larry
