The Center for Comparative Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in
Houston, TX. is seeking a candidate to work in their Comparative
Pathology Laboratory. The laboratory provides anatomic
pathology support on non-human tissue samples submitted by research
investigators at Baylor. The candidate must be experienced in the
technical aspects of a histology laboratory. This
includes but is not limited to animal necropsy, tissue trim-in, routine
paraffin processing, microtomy (paraffin, frozen section, plastic),
routine and special staining, immunohistochemistry, and equipment
maintenance. Basic computer skills are required. Familiarty
with GLPs a plus, but not required. Certification by ASCP at
the technician or technologist level required. Please contact
