Explain your problem, and why the = answer is not available at NIH, where there is no lack of expertise.=

People have been staining nerve fibres (sensory axons) i= n the cornea for more than 70 years.

The technical issu= es may relate to the preparation: sections or whole-mounts. A cornea= l whole-mount is curved in 3D and it resists pressing to make a flat spe= cimen.
