Re: [Histonet] An histology puzzle?

From:Roger Moretz

It appears to be a highly contracted artery or
arteriole with artifactual damage to the surrounding
tissue. The smooth muscle cells also appear to have
vacuoles or fixation- or mechanical-related artifacts.
The angle of cut through the vessel seems
tangential--giving the interesting image.
