know, a truly deficient way to operate, lol), I find our top 10 special
stains to be:

2.  PASD
3.  Masson's Trichrome
4.  GMS
5.  Periodic Acid - Methenamine Silver (PAMS)
6.  Iron
7.  Congo Red
8.  AFB
9.  Elastic Van Gieson
10. Alcian Blue / PAS
