RE: [Histonet] IHC staining for astrocytes

From:"Favara, Cynthia \(NIH/NIAID\) [E]"

Astrocytes are stained quite nicely with GFAP. Oligo Olig-2 I do not
know if they will cross with zebra fish that is out of my league by like
2000.

Subject: [Histonet] IHC staining for astrocytes

Hello Histonetters,I am in need of some information which is likely to
be only found amongst people of your intellectual calibre (flattery gets
you everywhere!).I am interested in immunostaining for glia,
specifically astrocytes, in the brain and spinal column of the
zebrafish.Would anyone know of any antibodies that would stain
definitively for these cells?Hoping you can be of some help.Thanking
you,Gerald McKeon
