Hi! Stacy, We use paraplast for infiltration only!!! I've been told it infiltrates better than
the other waxes. Weuse surgipath for sectioning. Which is a good wax to cut with.
However Tissue Prep II Is used @ the hospital I cover sat. I know they infiltrate
and use it for embedding and sectioning. I think it is the best paraffin on the market.
It's not as sticky as surgipath, and sections very well. We use a hotter temp when floating sections temp is 45 degrees.
