I would just remelt your bone block and put it back into paraffin into a
vacuum oven at 15 lbs. of pressure either for a few hours or overnight
depending on the size. Bone is very dense so it takes much, much longer to
infiltrate so the longer in paraffin the easier it is to cut. (also have to
make sure it was in xylenes long enough to clear)

Does anyone have a tried and proven remedy for retrieving sufficient 
sections from decalcified bone that yielded inadequate infiltration with 
paraffin during processing? It is just crumbling on all attempts to
