When I did, I used super heavyweight vinyl gloves made by Oak Technical Inc.  Fisher carries them, catalog # 11-394-56.  They don't fit as nice as latex, but are far better than the bulky cleaning gloves.  PVC gloves have a little better tolerance to xylene than nitrile.  I would get several days out of each glove.
